And Bingo was his name-O

This week's Blog Improvement Project challenged us to write a lot of different types of blog posts. There was a lit of ten that we should try to do, and I did all ten in two weeks!

A How-To Post http://bookwormsarah.blogspot.com/2009/02/what-did-she-say-about-chick-lit.html (I went by the description of a how to post, a post about something I am now an expert on)

I also tried to notice what types of posts were more popular. I repeated some types of posts, and those were usually the easier posts to write. However, those posts did not receive as many comments as others did. It seems like th posts that reuqired more effort got more comments, such as my Chick-Lit conclusions.

I am thinking about doing a mini research topic similar to that frequently. I read better when I am trying to analyze. My Chick-Lit post was a unique and fun post to write and prepare for. I want to start reading in order to give you more posts like that. If you have any suggestions of topics I can write about, comment here!

Congratulations! I've just finished too! It was really hard work, and I don't think I'll be putting that many different types of post up in the future, but I'm glad I did it!

Congratulations!
I have also finished, and I agree with you that you get more comments for the unusual posts. So maybe it isn´t such a stupid idea to vary one´s blog a bit :)

Congratulations on getting all ten. I got mine done too and it felt good to do it. I also noticed more comments the past two weeks with more variety of posts.

Yay, congrats! I agree -- post with more work, or posts that ask something from readers tend to get more response for me. I'm glad doing the different posts helped you think more broadly about your blog topics :)
