Accoutrements.com has a...unique array of action figures. Right next to Jesus, Sigmund Freud, Bigfoot, and Moses, you can find bookish people such as Edgar Alan Poe, Charles Dickens, and Jane Austen (all shown above).
The Deluxe Librarian Action Figure is probably the funniest. From the website 'Press the button on her back for the infamous “amazing shushing action!” ' But, definitely not as much fun as Deluxe Jesus's "Glow-in-the0dark miracle hands!"
"Action" Figures. With action figures, aren't little children supposed to act out scenes from superman comics? With writers, I don't think there is much action going on.
Kid 1: Hey, dweeb, what are you doing after school? Watching BARNEY? -laugh-
Kid 2: Oh no. I am going to do something way cooler! I am going to go play with my Charles Dickens action figure! He's going to act out the time where he wrote the several pages about a crack in the wall in A Tale of Two Cities!
You can imagine the rest. Imagining should be easier than figuring out how to have a good time with a literary action figure.
